LILA ROSE
LILA ROSE
Born with “ultra sound sensitivity”, Lila’s experience of the world around her has been quite out of the ordinary, and very much sonically based. Armed with a distinctive voice and a compassionate understanding of the world around her, Canadian born singer/songwriter Lila Rose, writes songs whose sweeping musical vision and aesthetic beauty is matched only by the depth of her poetry. Her album, Heart Machine, co-produced with David Earl is a masterpiece of sound, song, craft and technology, bending the genres of electronica, indie pop, and indie rock. Released January 10th out of San Francisco, California, the album has already received a plethora of rave reviews from around the globe.

Lila writes from the well of her experiences, building on the pain of human existence to create songs that speak to the human heart. Out of each shadow she culls light, uplifting, inspiring, and offering hope in lieu of even the greatest challenges of the heart, soul and mind.

Catch Lila Rose and her full band this fall on their West Coast American tour starting Oct 25th 2012. Be sure to check her website for dates and to get pre-sale tickets.
Birdseye
Birdseye
Birdseye, an Indie band with Baroque and Folk edges from Oakland, California, was born in the presence of multi-layered inspiration when Swan and David Peter Mellish met in the Spring of 2010. Although their first song began almost immediately via lyrical text messages and half a dozen more shortly followed, their journey shifted with a distance that kept their music sleeping until the following S
pring. With stories of their paths tucked in their pockets and projections of their hearts imprinted in their visions, the songs picked up where they'd left off and new ones were born, rich with compelling harmonies, inventive songwriting and layered arrangement. Birdseye is currently in the studio writing their first album, touring the West Coast and playing summer festivals.
