Moonfox

MoonFox is a bone clattering, boot stomping, San Francisco based rock and roll band. Formed in the embers of 2011 by songwriter and lyricist Danika Ingraham, the group is a vehicle for bringing her nightmares and fantasies to life through the ritual magick of song. Taking inspiration from the poetic anarchy of Patti Smith, the world weary cynicism of Tom Waits, and the hellish fury of Nick Cave, MoonFox seeks to forge a sound instantly recognizable and approachable, with a heavy dose of introspective and emotional lyrics that eat away at the psyche of the listener long after the music ends.
Prize

Sophia Santulli is singer/songwriter/producer at the helm of Prize. This explosive siren ignited as she ran from the hills of her operatic training into the clubs of San Francisco. With a Masters in Vocal Performance from San Francisco Conservatory and the self-release of Prize: The Split EP, Prize walked her well-worn patent leather combat boots into her band van to live on the road in order to be able to pursue her writing and performing.
*~*~Prize 2.0 happened as Sophia decided to not only write and sing, but produce the entirety of her first full-length album, Surprize Box! a feat of bravery stemming from impatience. She stuck with an analog recording process for the vocals with Cookie Marenco at OTR studios, further carving out her dedication to excellent singing without the slick bells and whistles of pop. The bells and whistles all hang in synth form on her minimal and bouncy bedroom-pop beats, mastered by EDM heavyweight Glenn Morrison.~*~*
As Sophia dreamed up Prize, she was paying her dues as a backup singer in San Francisco, performing and recording with artists such as Third Eye Blind, John Vanderslice, The Dodos, Two Foot Yard, and Tidelands at venues including Great American Music Hall, Davies Symphony Hall, Swedish American Hall, Palace of Fine Arts (Noise Pop 2010), and SFMOMA with Minna Choi's Magik*Magik Orchestra. Prize is also a guest vocalist on electronica artist Ladder's (Below Zero) upcoming album. Having already sung operatic leads locally and abroad, she continues to sing with alternative groups such as Classical Revolution and Opera On Tap.

Mammoth Life

Mammoth Life s a female fronted, indie pop three-piece from San Francisco by way of LFK.
The Liz O Show

A Liz O Show is like no other show in town. There are stuffed bears and drunken sailors and bawdy pirates and crowd-surfing ponies. There's glitter and crayons and kazoos and cupcakes. There are people dancing around in party hats and wigs. There is merriment and frivolity and sheer unbridled fun.
And at the base of it all are stellar stories, told through song. Liz O has been compared most frequently to Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, and "Ani diFranco on Prozac" for her songwriting abilities, while her whimsical, surrealist aesthetic draws comparison to Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. As for her guitar playing, its firmly rooted in the rhythms of the blues, influenced and inspired by legends such as Bo Diddley, Jimmy Reed, and Howlin' Wolf.
Arriving in San Francisco with just a guitar and a backpack in September of 2010, Liz O quickly put together a band that reflected her vision of 60's era rock n' roll with a layer of sparkles on top. The band got to work recording her debut album, Golden Gate 8, after a successful Kickstarter campaign that culminated in spring of 2011. The funding ran out with still more music to be recorded, so Liz O has been working hard to chip away at the album piece by piece, and with a new burst of activity coming up, it should be ready for release by summer 2012. Meanwhile, she has been developing the live show, and it's one you are guaranteed not to forget. Come check it out for yourself!
