Kyle Gass Band

In January of 2011, Kyle Gass was asked to assemble his most talented musical brethren and form a band that would open for Mike Campbell of the infamous Heartbreakers. The resulting group, called The Kyle Gass Band, was way too much fun so they decided to run with it!
With this project, KG really wanted to focus on great songs and stellar musicianship, so he asked his good friends John Konesky and John Spiker, both LA session musicians who have played with the D since Pick Of Destiny to join him. In addition they called their old friend Nate Rothacker, who backed the almighty D at Bonaroo on drums to a crowd of nearly 80,000 people! And to round it out, they called up their new buddy Mike Bray, essentially a young Paul Rogers, to front the band, and with that, The KGB was born!
It's good-time-rock-and-roll done right, with incredible harmonies, hugenormous guitars, and just the slightest dusting of flute! The band will enter the studio this year to record an EP, and will be hitting the road in the coming months!

The Adversary

Equal parts Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley and DNB influenced
electronica, the Adversary’s singular sound has made them the top draw on the bill for every single venue they have played in the Bay Area. Despite hailing from NYC, musician Andre Mistier’s San Francisco project even received the distinction of being the top drawing act at the Hayes Valley Association’s fundraiser at Rickshaw Stop to bring the new Burning Man sculpture to Patricia Green earlier this year.
Fresh off the heels of multiple SRO crowds at Rickshaw and Café Royale, the group (also featuring Hayes Valley native Trent Berry on guitar) is set to strike again with guitar, cello and singing coupled with a DJ mixing live beats in real time- for SF shows we have veteran Chris Phleck (Brick and Mortar, Harlot, Motown on Mondays, Bliss) The sonic
results are really exciting and sound like this:

Shaufrau

When is the last time you heard an acoustic duet and were left...floored? Paso Robles duo SHAUFRAU veer from acoustic anarchy into soulful vibes, often in the very same song! Khristain Singleton provides guitar while Heather Weller belts deep, sultry vocals from beyond. Shaufrau's musicians have recently found a niche on the Sunset strip of all places, winning over audiences with their decidedly- un Hollywood approach to music- idiosyncratic, yet organic to the core. Prepare to both swagger and swoon at their San Francisco debut!
