The Warlocks
The Warlocks
Time isn’t constant or concrete. It’s made of color and shade. Time flows, blurs and fades away in dim morning light. Time melts. And The Warlocks are the ecstatic, hazy, foreboding, holy tick tock of time that isn’t anything at all. For five albums, The Warlocks have lived in between and beyond minutes and hours. Sway to The Warlocks live and loud and songs will drift and envelop each other like fog. Listen to the records and you’ll hear soundtracks to fuzz-freaked, bacchanalian stomps, pre-dawn city prowls, sleeping late with new crushes, and the elation and exhaustion that wash in and recede deep in the wee hours. But there is vivid focus too. Throbbing bass lines, distant rolling thunder drums, and zombie rattlesnake shake are a heartbeat of strange, ominous vitality. Guitars howl, slash and bounce like light. Bobby Hecksher’s vocals sound oddly alone and unsettlingly intimate all at once. And just when you think you understand the sum of these sonic elements, they become something else entirely…The Warlocks are working on a new album and it will be released sometime in 2013 on Cargo Records. This will be the first Bay Area show with the Warlocks in over a year.

LSD and the Search for God
"Magical pop...that could inspire one to take meds without a perscription." - Autopia Music

"LSD and the Search for God are the rightful inheritors of the more coherent side of My Bloody Valentine and the more experimental, noisy side of Luna." -Real Detroit Weekly

"Psychedelic shoegazers..." - SF Weekly

"LSD and the Search for God live up to their name with psychedelic rock reminiscent of My Bloody Valentine and Spaceman 3." - Flavorpill

"Apparently, the ’90s was one awesome guitar-driven, hazy dream, and the influx of bands reminiscing hard on shoegaze is more prominent than ever. San Francisco’s LSD And The Search For God is no exception, the band pinning itself as a group of trippers by name alone. Living up to the moniker, the dual vocals of Andy Liszt and Sophia Campbell ride perfectly over sheets of reverb and feedback like a poppier version of Sonic Youth, and the five-piece carries some substantial weight through their drummer’s unabashed arena-rock style." - The Onion AV Club
Cellar Doors
Cellar Doors
Taking San Francisco by storm, fresh from opening for BRMC, The Cellar Doors are not to be missed.

"A true rock & Roll outfit, born into the slums of digital downloads and Facebook feeds. They're bringing the smoke and strobes and psychedelic reverie to this current scene from the one that's lived underground from the 60's til today. Laced with pounding bass and rhythm and reverberating guitars, this trio's unique sound it sure to pull any modern listener from their laptop and back to a live show. - Jewel King
