Enrolling in singing lessons, she began performing in community theater at only eight-years-old. She found inspiration in artists such as Taylor Swift,Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne, Maisie Peters, and Gracie Abrams. Inhigh school, she quietly wrote songs in private until her vocal instructor urged her to share them. The world slipped intolockdown during her formative years of high school, so she turned to TikTok. Gaining traction with a handful of covers, sheposted a clip of“Fictional.”It caught the attention of RECORDS/Columbia Records, and she signed to the label.
