Porchfest:
A day of music on the porches, backyards, and stoops of the Mission, SF Porchfest is a free, one-day, music festival returning for its sixth year on Saturday, June 8th, 2024! SF Porchfest reflects the creativity and diversity of the city we all love, with musical acts across many genres, ages, and backgrounds. We seek to foster an environment that welcomes all and brings people together through the arts. SF Porchfest is an incredible day, and we're excited to bring the event back to San Francisco’s Mission District, and to Brick and Mortar for an incredible kick-off event on Thursday June 6th!
Maisy & Friends
Originally formed by a group of four San Francisco high school students, “Maisy & Friends” has been performing around San Francisco since 2020. The band’s sound is influenced by folk, funk, indie, and their collective backgrounds as jazz musicians. Over the years, the band has transformed into a rotating lineup of Bay Area talent, featuring several notable vocalists and varying instrumentations. The group’s 2021 EP can be found on all streaming services.
Los Jefes
Los Jefes is a Timba and Salsa group out of San Francisco that has been playing together since the summer of 2022. They all share an energetic and passionate love for Rumba, Timba, Songo, Piano and Bass Tumbaos, and the aggressive New York Salsa Trombone sound. From rehearsal, to the studio, to the stage, their energy is explosive, rhythmic, and beautiful.
