Amanda Magaña

Amanda is a dynamic singer, songwriter, and percussionist, known as one of the Bay Area’s most sought-after artists. Inspired by '90s neo-soul and hip-hop, Amanda invents soulful soundscapes while blending elements of jazz with R&B rhythms, pushing the boundaries of contemporary music.

Originally from Sylmar, California, she moved to San Francisco to study under Dr. John Calloway at San Francisco State University. Since then, Amanda’s musical career has flourished, leading to the release of her 2024 EP, ART THERAPY. Featuring original compositions by Amanda, ART THERAPY offers a deep, authentic exploration of love, sex, and adulthood, with raw lyricism and honesty that encourage listeners to embrace the full spectrum of emotions that life brings. Drawing inspiration from visionaries like Beyoncé and Hiatus Kaiyote, this project showcases Amanda’s unique artistry and has become one of the Bay Area’s most exciting new projects, both live and in the studio.

Amanda’s musical journey has been marked by performing as a percussionist at The Fillmore and Outside Lands. She has also showcased her vocal talent at Carnaval San Francisco and in a guest appearance with Aaron Frazer at The Wiltern. Supported by highly accomplished collaborators, Amanda continues to captivate audiences and solidify her place in the contemporary music scene.

Magilo

Based in the Bay Area, Magilo’s unique sound fuses soulful vocals, dynamic rhythms, and influences of rock, jazz and blues. Coming together in 2022 through a network of old friends in the east bay music scene, Magilo hit the ground running, doing shows throughout the Bay Area and recording their first album, Bloom, within a year of starting out. They’ve since toured in southern California and New York, and are in the process of recording a second EP. Their emotionally raw performances are underpinned by the band’s fun and genuine chemistry, giving audiences an intimate space to dance, let loose, and sink in.

Adventure Playground

Adventure Playground is on this earth to have fun and play kick ass punk rock music. Hailing from Oakland, CA, AP is a 5-piece outfit that is turning heads with their catchy hooks and contagious energy. Formed in 2021 by old friends who were inspired to create a new, unique blend of pop-punk that is now taking the storied East Bay music scene by storm, Adventure Playground is setting their sights on world domination. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Adventure Playground became fast friends at music summer camp in Cazadero, CA. After graduating high school the group spent the next 10 years spread out around the country honing their craft. While guitarists Isaac Butler-Brown and Ben Klausner and singer Noah St. John wasted their undergraduate years pretending to attend classes at Wesleyan University and playing in much-talked-about college party bands, and drummer John Spencer studied jazz in New York City and infiltrated Brooklyn’s DIY punk scene, bassist Griffin Kamm held it down in the Bay Area making a name for himself as a live video producer.

Finally together again, AP has been creating a reputation for their high energy and impossibly danceable live shows. The members of AP have played a wide range of genres from jazz to psych rock to hip hop and are combining these influences to create a sound that is leaving a lasting impact on all the ears it can find. AP has been hard at work in the studio and is preparing to release their debut album.
