Sangstaa

Raleigh-born artist Sangstaa turns struggle into sound, shaped by his upbringing in a Korean-immigrant family and inspired by his parents’ resilience to chase music at all costs. Wearing his heart on his sleeve, Sang has carved a space for himself by blending raw honesty with genre-bending creativity. He has opened for artists like G-Soul, Junoflo, and Ethan Low, pushing to bridge the cultural and sonic gap between Korean and American rap and R&B. Now in 2025, as an immigrant navigating the realities of new U.S. immigration laws, Sang approaches his craft with urgency—determined to leave a legacy that transcends borders. Self-produced and mixed, his latest work reveals an artist unafraid to risk it all, weaving influences from rock, rap, R&B, and indie into a sound uniquely his own. For Sangstaa, music is more than ambition—it’s survival, storytelling, and a testament to turning struggle into something undeniably powerful.
