With a stage presence that’s as refreshing and authentic as his sound and image, Zair ("Zi-Year") Williams is motivated to develop into an artist that you won't forget. Not boxing himself in, his sounds range from rap and r&b to rock and alternative. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Zair knew at a young age he would get into music with early influences from Outkast, Erkyah Badu, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Prince, Kanye West, and much more. In the 6th grade, he and his family relocated to Stockton, California. There he met engineer, producer, DJ, and one of his best friends DJ Chrissy Chris and the two began making music together.
In 2017, he released his groovy funky single “honeybun” which gained traction and became an instant fan favorite. Soon after, he performed at the DMP Music Festival in San Francisco, opening for Bay Area legends Too $hort and Mistah FAB with up-and-coming acts such as Rexx Life Raj and more. Since then, he has shared the same stage with artists such as The Pack, Lil B The Based God, Nef The Pharaoh, ALL BLACK, Guapdad4000, Locksmith, JAG, Mickey Factz, Chris O’ Bannon, Stunnaman02, Jwalt, Zelooperz, Derek King, Bigbabygucci, LaRussell, and many more!
In 2022, Zair did a virtual performance via Twitch for New York based music and tech platform, The Digilogue, giving fans an early look into his debut full length project “HATRA”, which is slated to be released in early 2023.
