Shudder To Think has carved out a sound that is as ambitious as it is unclassifiable. They emerged as one of the seminal bands from the Washington, D.C. punk/post-hardcore scene of the late 1980s and early ’90s, with the original lineup – singer Craig Wedren, bassist Stuart Hill, drummer Mike Russell, and guitarist Chris Matthews – releasing their first few groundbreaking albums on D.C.’s legendary Dischord Records.
